About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Consultant to join a growing financial services organisation and play a key role in developing and strengthening relationships with strategic partner businesses.
Working alongside regional sales leadership, you will be responsible for supporting established accounts, identifying opportunities for growth, and helping to deliver an excellent client experience. You will act as a key point of contact for partner firms, ensuring their requirements are understood, issues are resolved effectively, and opportunities to deepen commercial relationships are identified.
This is a varied role combining account management, business development support, client engagement and commercial administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of strategic partner accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers.
- Support the delivery of regional sales and business development objectives.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships and generate additional business.
- Provide proactive telephone and account support to clients, working closely with the wider sales team.
- Assist Business Development Managers with preparation for client meetings, presentations and supporting materials.
- Produce and maintain client-facing documents, meeting packs, reports and other commercial collateral.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Support the resolution and management of complex client queries and escalations.
- Follow up on client meetings and actions, ensuring agreed next steps are completed.
- Work collaboratively across the wider organisation to deliver a consistent, high-quality service.
- Contribute to the retention, development and commercial growth of existing accounts.
