Investment Administration Manager

Our client is seeking an Investment Administration Manager to join their team on a 12 month FTC. You will manage a team of 5 or more Investment Assistants, supervise workflow and support the overall growth of the business by providing training and development to your team allowing for efficient delivery. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 5+ Investment Assistants, providing coaching, mentoring, training, performance management and ongoing development
  • Deliver high-quality operational support to Investment Managers and Brokers, ensuring efficient day-to-day administration and providing overflow cover where required
  • Support client servicing and onboarding, including pre-meeting preparation, new client paperwork, valuations, performance reporting, applications, transfers and suitability documentation
  • Monitor team performance and processes, producing MI and regular reporting, setting team objectives, identifying improvements and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Collaborate across the business, working with Business Managers, Operations and other teams to resolve issues, improve processes and ensure effective communication
  • Ensure regulatory and process compliance, including FCA, CASS, AML and GDPR requirements, while supporting projects and contributing to wider business initiatives

About You

  • Previous team leader or management experience
  • Experience within Wealth Management (or similar)
  • Friendly, confident and assertive with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent administration skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reliable and flexible, with previous experience in a busy department desirable.
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook, with a willingness to learn new systems and processes
