Our client is looking for a Compliance Manager to support the delivery of an effective, risk-based Compliance Programme. Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Compliance Programme, helping to identify, assess and manage compliance risks.
- Provide practical compliance advice and constructive challenge across projects, strategic change and day-to-day business activity.
- Monitor regulatory obligations, conduct outcomes and emerging compliance themes.
- Produce clear reporting and management information for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
- Identify breaches, control weaknesses and areas of compliance vulnerability, supporting effective escalation and remediation.
- Work collaboratively with teams across Risk, Financial Crime, Change, Operations and wider business functions.
- Support the development of policies, procedures and compliance training.
- Keep up to date with regulatory developments and translate them into practical guidance for the business
About you
- Strong working knowledge of FCA requirements and UK financial services regulation.
- Pragmatic judgement with the ability to apply regulation in a practical, outcome-focused way.
- Clear communication skills, with the confidence to explain complex issues simply and effectively.
- Ability to provide constructive, evidence-based challenge while building trusted stakeholder relationships.
- Strong risk and control mindset, with experience identifying issues and driving remediation.
- Proactive, accountable and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused approach, with an understanding of Consumer Duty and good customer outcomes.
