Do you have experience in a fast paced administrative environment?  Our client, a leading Claims organisation, is looking for a Claims Technician to provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth and proactive management of insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer new claims, including receiving instructions, issuing acknowledgements, and setting up files.
  • Support Adjusters with investigations, validation enquiries, and report preparation.
  • Manage claim lifecycles through effective diary control and proactive file handling.
  • Oversee Adjuster caseloads during periods of leave.
  • Act as a point of contact for insured parties, insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders.
  • Produce accurate management information and performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, data protection, and information security standards.
  • Handle incoming calls, resolve queries, and complete invoicing tasks.
  • Provide account management and general administrative support as required.

About You:

  • Experience in a fast-paced office or administrative environment is essential.
  • Insurance or loss adjusting experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Highly organised, methodical, and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel; quick to learn new systems.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and thrive under pressure.
  • Target-driven, proactive, and flexible, with occasional travel required.
