Our client, a leading insurance firm, is looking for a Claims Handler to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in supporting members, ensuring claims are handled accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, process, and pay claims accurately across a range of products
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of claims activities
- Communicate regularly with claimants, providing clear updates and support
- Liaise with partners, treatment providers, and internal teams to resolve queries
- Investigate and respond to complaints or escalations promptly and professionally
- Ensure all claims are handled in line with FCA, Data Protection, and regulatory standards
About You:
- Previous experience in claims, insurance, or financial services is desirable
- Strong decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail
- A customer-first mindset, able to handle sensitive queries with empathy and professionalism
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive and adaptable, able to manage workloads effectively to meet service levels
- High personal standards in attendance, time-keeping, and conduct
