Do you have the ability to interpret large datasets with knowledge of financial services regulatory environment? 

Our client, a leading provider of Group Insurance, is looking for a Technical Compensation Specialist to join their team in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the Compensation and Variable Pay (CVP) module in SuccessFactors
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on CVP system and processes, ensuring thorough testing of updates and improvements
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives for the CVP module, integrating lessons learned and enhancing processes during year-end salary and bonus reviews
  • Plan and document system changes and enhancements with clear lead times, involving Reward and wider People Strategy Systems teams
  • Manage data integrity of the CVP system, collaborating with UK and European teams to prevent impacts on dependent modules
  • Identify and resolve data anomalies, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for informed pay decisions
  • Generate regular reports and extract data from CVP, providing insights on internal and external compensation data

Your Skills:

  • Experience in HR systems or HR reward roles within a centre of excellence HR model
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), including vlookups, Pivot tables, Index Matching, IF/SUM formulas
  • Ability to manage and interpret large datasets; familiarity with Power BI preferred
  • Previous experience with SAP SuccessFactors (specifically CVP) and expertise in system and process improvements
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or other HRIS ticketing systems
  • Detailed approach to data management with a commitment to confidentiality
  • Positive collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual teams across multiple locations
  • Demonstrated sound judgment in issue escalation and seeking support
  • Clear and effective communication across all management levels
  • Thorough understanding of financial services regulatory environment
  • Systematic work approach ensuring quality outputs and meeting timelines
