Do you have a high attention to detail with previous Paraplanner experience in the Financial Services?
Our client, a leading wealth management firm, is looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their Bath team.
Your responsibilities:
- Assist Financial Planners by reviewing client objectives, conducting research/analysis on funds and products, and preparing tailored financial plans, forecasts, and supporting documentation
- Provide technical support and guidance within the Paraplanner licence framework, liaising with providers/third parties where needed
- Ensure accuracy through 4-eyes checks, completion of new business sheets/forms, and timely handover to PAs in line with agreed SLAs
- Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and company procedures, ensuring accurate records, confidentiality, and fair treatment of clients
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business, providing support, project work, and absence cover to meet deadlines
- Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills through CPD (minimum 35 hours/year), training, webinars, and quarterly company tests
Your skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within financial services
- Practical application of technical financial knowledge
- Strong data research and report writing background
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong customer focus, achieving the best outcomes for clients and the business
- Fully Diploma qualified, with solid understanding of the Financial Planning process
- Proven ability to support advisers and clients with excellent service
- Skilled in planning, organisation, and meeting deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
