We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety and Business Continuity Advisor to join the Operations team of a leading law firm on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be working from the Bristol office.
Health, safety and welfare are crucial for the firm’s 700+ employees. As the Health & Safety Advisor you will play a key role in ensuring the firm’s health & safety and business continuity plans and procedures are followed and kept up to date.
Your responsibilities will include implementing and overseeing a wide range of health & safety policies, carrying out audits, reviewing processes, presenting findings and ensuring monitoring systems are fit for purpose. You will also play a part in our business continuity planning, conducting risk analysis, coordinating and testing response plans and be a key part of the firm’s response to business disruption.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work with a wide range of people including senior management, NEBOSH (National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety) qualified and a good understanding of applying Business Continuity practices in the workplace. Previous experience in working with external suppliers, conducting risk assessments and a background of working in a professional services environment is also beneficial. Enthusiastic and confident in approach, you will be responsible for promoting a positive and professional health & safety culture across the firm.
