A leading Intellectual Property firm is looking for a confident, proactive individual to join them as Head of Business Support. In this diverse role, you will be at the epicentre of the business services side of the company. The role is all about making things happen, and getting things done, so being proactive and flexible are key skills here.
Provide excellent support and amenity for colleagues and clients
Manage the premises (facilities) to ensure all workplaces areas are up to standard and efficient, being the main point of contact for contractors and landlords
Oversee and co-ordinate premise relocations, and reconfigure seating arrangements
Ensure all health and safety compliance and regulations are maintained and adhered to
Carry out health and safety inductions to all new starters
Provide excellent first point of contact experience, for both internal and external queries
Be happy to do the more routine side of administration if there’s a lack of staff. For example, distributing mail, and ensuring supplies are always available in the office
Your skills and qualifications:
You will have a minimum of three years’ experience in office management or a facilities-related role
You will be a natural leader, with experience in managing and motivating a small team
You have a confident and flexible attitude to work, with a strong sense of diplomacy
You are an effective self-starter and motivator, with an ability to set clear targets for yourself, and the rest of the Business Support team
You will have a minimum of 2 x A Levels (or equivalent), and a degree
