Our client, a leading financial services firm based in central Bristol, is seeking a Group Legal Administrator to support Solicitors and Fee Earners in handling cases and preparing for hearings and meetings. 

You will:
– Collect and organise file papers for qualified individual lawyers to review
– Conduct conflict checks, AML checks and file opening procedures
– Assist during meetings with Clients or Company Board by taking notes, and putting meeting packs together
– Arrange meetings with other areas of the business and in department
– Attend to basic clerical tasks, such as photocopying, making and receiving telephone calls, and filing correspondence
– Ensure that client deadlines, all internally agreed Key Performance Indicators, service standards and regulatory reporting requirements are met
– Fulfil any other reasonable requirement of the department

Your skills and qualifications:
– You will have 1 years of office experience, ideally within am in house legal setting or in private practice
– You will have excellent editing, verbal and written communication skills
– You will have MS Word knowledge, essential, good working knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
– You will have a confident telephone manner
– You will have strong organisation skills
– You will have a high level of discretion with confidential matters
– You will be adaptable, professional, motivated, and be able to work on your own as well as within a Team
