A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning Support Manager to oversee the administration and paraplanning functions within a highly respected financial planning environment.
About the Role
As Financial Planning Support Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading and developing support teams to ensure seamless client service and adviser support. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to drive efficiencies, improve systems, and uphold compliance standards in line with FCA regulations. This role can be office based or hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop administration and paraplanning teams
- Conduct 1:1s, team meetings, training, and performance appraisals
- Oversee workflow management, SLAs, and KPIs across support functions
- Collaborate with internal departments
- Maintain and enhance FCA-compliant procedures and documentation
- Act as a senior escalation point for client or adviser-related support issues
- Build relationships with providers and platforms to streamline operational support
- Provide regular performance reporting to senior leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in financial services
- Strong understanding of FCA regulatory compliance
- Background in financial planning support (paraplanning/admin)
- Proficiency with industry systems
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
