Are you an experience Finance Assistant with a good understanding of accounting principles? Can you demonstrate experience in accounts payable, banking, billing and general finance? If so, then this could be the ideal role for you.

We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a Top 100 Bristol law firm. This role provides the opportunity to gain experience across the breadth of the finance team.

You will:

·       Accurately reconciliate banking activities

·       Promptly pay invoices

·       Provide efficient resolution of internal and external queries

·       Process employee expenses

·       Contribute towards SRA Accounting rule compliance

·       Be the key point of contact with suppliers and experts

·       Carry out supplier account reconciliations

·       Assist with annual audits

·       Allocate receipts to client ledgers

·       Assist with month end procedures

·       Process bills following workflow edit and approval

Your skills and experience:

·       You will be able to demonstrate rounded financial assistant experience ideally within a professional services environment

·       You will have excellent numeracy and MS Excel skills

·       You will have a good understanding and experience of accountancy principles

·       You will have an understanding of VAT and VAT rules

·       You will be well organised, versatile with a willingness to learn
