Our client, an award-winning investment and technology solutions firm, is looking for a Compliance Advice Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Helping to ensure that the Executive Committee, management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory bodies
- Provide proactive and pragmatic compliance advice to the business
- Monitor and coordinate compliance activities of other departments, and direct any issues to appropriate channels
- Identify trends and areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, providing data and reports to management
- Identify alleged breaches of rules, regulations and policies, and assist in corrective action and advice where compliance issues arise
- Assist in developing and maintaining compliance training programmes
- Assist in development and ongoing maintenance of Compliance Policies and Procedures
- Keep the Compliance Team and the wider business up to date with regulatory changes
- Undertake regulatory reporting as required
About you:
- Working knowledge of FCA requirements
- Experience of providing compliance advice in an agile change environment beneficial
- Well-developed analytical and reasoning skills
- Willing to help out with wider compliance tasks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
